• Sunburst Summer Squash: Handle summer squash with care because they are damaged very easily. Store for up to four to five days in a perforated plastic bag in the refrigerator. Do not wash until ready to use.
  • Eggplant is quite perishable and should be used within 3-4 days for best flavor and freshness.  Handle with care, as they can bruise easily.  To store, wrap in a paper towel and place in a perforated plastic bag; store in the refrigerator vegetable bin.
  • Yellow Peaches: Peaches can be ripened by placing in a paper bag punched with holes; store at room temperature in a spot away from sunlight. Check often for ripeness as they can go from under-ripe to overripe in a matter of twenty-four hours.
