Persimmon
A persimmon is a fruit tree belonging to the family of trees called Diospyros which means “the fruit of the gods” in ancient Greek.[1] Persimmons are generally light orange-yellow to dark orange-red in color, and depending on the species, vary in size from 0.5 to 4 inches in diameter. They have a balanced protein profile, and possess various medicinal and chemical uses.
